Cheryl Marie Tanner

Services for Cheryl Marie Watson Tanner, 63 of Ochlocknee have been held privately. Her final resting place is at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Tanner passed away August 16, 2021 at Archbold Hospital. Born August 27, 1957 in Pavo, she was the daughter of the late Cleveland Bruce Watson and Betty Marie Shackleford Rogers. She was married to Fred Tanner, who survives. She was a member of World of Truth Tabernacle and enjoyed fishing. Other survivors include her children, Joseph Lee Turner and wife Amanda of Cairo, Sheryl Maria Wimberly and husband Tyrone of Ochlocknee and Fred Leslie Tanner, Jr and Hope Cosper of Douglas, Ga; grandchildren, Kevin Meades, Austin Meades, Alysa Tanner, Adrian Carr, Chelsea Turner, Havan Turner, Jordan Tanner, Adam Tanner, Skylar Reid and Timothy James Joiner; siblings, Sherry Jane Coleman of Moultrie, David Allen Watson of Thomasville and Donna Rogers of Quitman. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Ben Bruce Watson and James Meades; aunt, Viola Dennard and uncle Charles Shackleford.
