Christine Haney Starnes

Graveside services for Christine Haney Starnes will be held on Saturday, November 16th, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Starnes passed away on November 12th, 2019, in Thomasville. Born on April 8th, 1949 in Thomaston, GA, she was the daughter of the late Nimrod Haney and the late Willie Mae Mitchell. She was married to Richard Starnes, who survives. Christine particularly adored cats, and she loved spending time with them. Survivors include children, James Hampton (Amy) of Jennings, FL, Gena Norris of Tampa, FL, Theresa Hampton of Thomasville, Dixie Ramagoz (Billy) of Bay St. Louis, MS; grandchildren, Nicole Hampton (29), Daniel Ramagoz (28), Chrisey Hatcher (24), Frank Parrish (32), Danielle Parrish (29), Jesse Parrish (28), Sandra Beard (27), Courtney Woods (20), Breanna Woods (17), Kinch Gilmore (14); 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Edith Mosley of Atlanta, Margie Woods of Atlanta. She was preceded in death by her son, Eric Hampton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made for the funeral arrangements.
