Service for Christopher Carl Cook, 42, of Cairo will be held at 2PM on Thursday, December 05, 2013 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be Pastor Steve Brooks. Mr. Cook passed away on December 02, 2013 at his residence. Born April 19, 1971 in Tampa, Fl., he was the son of General Walter Roy Cook of Destin, Fl., who survives and of the late Shirley Dixon Cook. Mr. Cook was a member of First Newark Baptist Church and a member of the church's Men's Group. Other survivors include wife Pam Cook of Cairo; sons Christopher Cook, Jr. of Tampa, Fl., Jonathan Cook; daughter Chyna Cook and Step-Daughter Amanda Mathews all of Cairo. He is also survived by his beloved dog Moose. A visitation will be held from 1PM to 2PM before the service at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Guest may sign the online register at www.allenfh.com .
