Christopher Earl Cox

Graveside services for Chris Cox will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, July 8, 2023, at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Mr. Cox, age 54, of Barwick, Ga., passed away on June 17, 2023, at his residence. He was born in Thomasville, Ga., on September 8, 1968, to the late George Earl Cox and Wilma H. Harris. He attended New Covenant Church in Thomasville. Chris was a Wellman, and plumber by trade. He played music and dearly loved to play and sing for his family and friends, and was a band member with numerous bands in the past. Survivors include Angela Whitley (fiancé) of Thomasville; sisters Cindy Bonner of Lakeland, Ga. and Becky Jones (Tom) of Barwick; stepbrother Little Ted Harris Jr., step sisters Teresa Allen and Kimberly James; nephews Lee Evans (Darby), Tim Evans (Hannah), and nieces Stacey Merritt and Olivia Puckett (Dylan), nephew Thomas Jones (Vanessa); and several great nieces and nephews and numerous friends.
