Christopher Thomas Rehberg

Services for Christopher Thomas Rehberg, 65 of Boston will be held at 2 PM, Friday, March 10, 2017 at Morningside United Methodist Church. Rev. Jean Watson will officiate and interment will follow in Sunset memorial Gardens. Pallbearers are Tim Rehberg, Mitch Holsenbeck, Scott Holsenbeck, Chris T. Rehberg, Jr., Luke Rehberg and Austin Bentley. Mr. Rehberg passed away March 7 at his residence. Born January 24, 1952 in Thomasville, he was the son of the late Thomas R. Rehberg and Naomi Sadler Rehberg of Boston. On October 9, 1987 he married Linda Bloodworth Rehberg, who survives. He was a veteran of the United States Marines and was a member of Morningside United Methodist Church. He owned South Georgia Welding for many years and later worked with Rowe Enterprises and was an avid hunter. Other survivors include his children, Chris T. Rehberg, Jr (Stephanie), Piper Rehberg, Mandy Dunham (Damon Hart) and Kelly Shiner (Matt); grandchildren, Wyatt Rehberg, Jackson Rehberg, Logan Rehberg, Landon Heath, Dustin Anderson (Emmaree), Malorie Anderson, Maura Shiner, Brock Shiner and Tessa Shiner; great-grandchildren, Alivia White and Opal Anderson; brother, John Timothy Rehberg (Chasity) of Cairo and sister, Pricilla R. Cope of Boston. Memorial donations may be made to Morningside United Methodist Church 2007 Smith Ave, Thomasville Ga 31792. The family will receive friends 1 hour before the service at the church.
