Christopher J. Rome

Services for Christopher J. Rome will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at Pineland Baptist Church. His family will greet friends at the church prior to the service from 1:00-2:00PM. Chris passed away on Thursday June 13, 2019 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born on November 8, 1950 in Washinigton, DC, he was the son of the late Gordon Rome and Janet Helms Rome who survives. He was a member of First Baptist Church and was also active at Pineland Baptist Church. Chris was a veteran of the United States Army and was a very kind and generous person. Survivors include his mother Janet Helms Rome of Thomasville and his sister Maggie Romigh of St. Petersburg, Fl. His family ask that donations be made to either Pineland Baptist Church or First Baptist Church.
