Services for Clara Lee Goff, 75, of Thomasville will be held on Tuesday, October 9th, 2018 at 6:00 PM at Allen & Allen Funeral Home’s Chapel. Bro. Bill Piland will officiate the service. Mrs. Goff passed away on October 7th, 2018 at her residence. She was born on December 19th, 1942 in Moultrie, GA. She was married to the late Clinton Ray Goff who passed away in 1996. As a child of God, Mrs. Goff was a hardworking mother and dedicated wife of 35 years. Formally worked at F.W. Woolworth (retired), and then started her own ceramic shop before completely retiring. She was an excellent seamstress who made clothes for her children and others over the years. She worked for Dollar General for a short period of time and private duty sitting twice. She is survived by her daughters Anita R. Smith, Cynthia L. Watson (Gary), siblings, Cecil Thompson (Carol), Gladys Barlow (the late Charles), Kenneth Thompson (Joann), the late Hershel Thompson (Wanda), Roy A. Thompson (Gloria), grandchildren, Heather N. Evans (fiancé Jonas Lydon), William L. Evans Jr., Jessica C. Smith, Todd, Katelyn, Angel, Timothy, and Hannah Watson, great-children, Ruth AnnaLee Gray (Evans) , and a host of nieces, nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Charlie B. Thompson and Pauline Tucker. Visitation will follow the service until 8:00 PM on Tuesday, October 9th,2018 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home.
