Clara Payne Dyches

Mrs. Clara Payne Dyches, 100 years old, of Lake Park, GA passed awayon May 17, 2012. Mrs. Dyches was the daughter of Leola and J. C. Payne of Thomasville, GA. She grew up in Crosland, GA. She worked in various capacities over her years and was a homemaker throughout her life and was a caretaker for her parents. She is one of five children, brother, Ernest Payne, sisters, Iris P. Boyle, Bernice P. Johnson, all who have pre-deceased her. She is survived by one sister, Julia Clyde Payne Beal of Greensboro, NC. Also her dear friends, Carl and Gail Moreen of Lake Park, GA who have been her loving caregivers for the past ten years. The family wishes to express utmost thanks to them for their constant care of Mrs. Dyches, and without their help could not have stayed in her home. She was a "Spunky"determined little lady who loved the Atlanta Braves and sought to be as independent as possible in her later years. Her funeral will be graveside at Laurel Hill Cemetary, Thomasville, GA on Wednesday, May 23, 2012, at 2:00 PM. Rev. Bob Dixon will officiate. Guests may sign the online register at www.allenfh.com
