Clarence Franklin Taylor, 81 of Thomasville passed away May 7, 2013 at his residence. Born January 14, 1932 in Perry County, Ala, he was the son of the late Jessie D. Taylor and Robbie Lee Stone Taylor. He was educated in the public schools of Alabama. He relocated to Valdosta in 1951 and was self-employed in the plumbing and well drilling business for many years there. He is survived his 2 children, Darrell Franklin Taylor and Debra Elaine Taylor who both survive and his former wife Thelma Mae Garrison Taylor. He later came to Thomasville and was employed by the City of Thomasville for 26 years as a plumbing inspector and retired in 1995. After retirement he traveled many states to attend Bluegrass Festivals with his devoted friend, Dorothy Mercer whom he loved dearly.
