Clark C. Yoder

Memorial service for Clark C. Yoder, 87 of Meigs, GA will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, May 19, 2014 at Meigs Mennonite Church. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM, Sunday, May 18, 2014 at the Meigs Mennonite Church, which will be the only public viewing. Interment will be at Meigs Mennonite Church Cemetery. Mr. Yoder passed away at his home May 14, 2014 at 9:18PM. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Hilda Mae Payne Yoder; his children, Grace Hershberger (Merle) of Belton, SC, Dorothy Hunsberger (Wayne) of Meigs, GA Roy Yoder (Lovina) of Montezuma, GA, Helen Basler of Oak Ridge, TN, and Melvene Joy Ellison of Belton, SC; brother, Mayard Yoder (Peggy) and Martin Yoder (Linda) all of Chesapeake, VA; 17 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl Roosevelt Yoder and Effie Tice Yoder; brothers, Owen Yoder, Edgar Yoder, Marvin Yoder and his twin Mark Yoder; sisters, Alverda Weaver, Dorothy Wenger; daughter, Gertrude Yoder and grandson, Christopher Hershberger.
