Don Prevatt will officiate with interment in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Mr. Hayes died October 5, 2002 at Glen Mor Nursing Home. Born October 18, 1917 in Mitchell Co., Ga., he was the son of the late Clarence Warner & Mamie Mae Mulford Hayes. He was a salesman for Crew Motors in Cairo, former Mayor of Whigham and a member of El Bethel Baptist Church. Survivors include daughters & sons-in-law, Jeanette & Miles Hannon of Buford, Ga., Janice & Jimmy Glausier of Albany, Ga., daughter, Millie Eyler of Albany, GA., son, C. Lee Hayes, Jr. of Lawrenceville, GA., son & daughter-in-law, Darrell & Suzie Hayes of Jefferson, GA., daughter, Margaret Owen of Thomasville, son & daughter-in-law, Keith & Marcia Hayes of Thomasville, daughter & son-in-law, Sheree & Mark Spriggle of Leesburg, GA., brother, Howard Hayes of Camilla, 16 Grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and former husband to Carolyn Taylor Hayes of Albany.
