Services for Claude Julian Lindsey, Jr, 55 of Thomasville will be held at 11AM, Friday, April 22 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Jeff Willis and Rev. Greg Souders will officiate and interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Mr. Lindsey passed away April 18, 2016 at his residence. Born September 22, 1960 in Mount Clemens, Michigan, he was the son of Claude Lindsey, Sr and Betty Jean Cannon Lindsey. He was married to Edith Linebaugh Lindsey who survives. Claude was a cashier at Harvey’s Supermarket on Smith Avenue and enjoyed talking to and swapping recipes with people as they came through his line. He always had a smile on his face and could find humor in any situation. Other survivors include his father & stepmother, Claude J. Lindsey, Sr and Maxine Lindsey of Foley, Alabama; mother, Betty Jean Cannon Lindsey of Plant City, Florida; children, Brandi Wray Lindsey of Augusta, Georgia, Cameron Cole Lindsey and wife Amanda of Maugansville, Maryland, Logan Thomas Lindsey and wife Chelsea of Thomasville, Shawn Lewis and wife Sonya of Greenville, Penn, Scott Linebaugh and wife Shannon of San Antonio, Texas and Amanda Gruber and husband Christopher of Nolanville, Texas; grandchildren, Dakota Lindsey, Christopher Addison, Daelan Addison, Helena Lorelei Lindsey, Milo Lindsey, Austin Lewis, Owen Lewis, Shawn Lewis, Jr, Cristina Lewis, Dillon Lewis, Tanner Lewis, Branson Linebaugh, Mia Gruber, Mathew Gruber and Robert Gruber; 2 great-grandchildren; sisters, Susan Jeanette Long and husband Billy and Cindy Mohler and husband Larry all of Plant City, Florida; several nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews. The family will greet friends 5-7pm, Thursday at the funeral home.
