Connie Mathes Maggitas

Visitation for Connie Mathes Maggitas of Thomasville, will begin at 3:00PM on Friday, September 17, 2004 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home with services to follow at 4:00PM at St. Thomas Episcopal Church. Father Dionysios Listermann-Vierling will officiate and interment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Maggitas died September 14, 2004. Born December 27, 1937 in Greece she was the daughter of the late Tom and Chriso Kakaleoura Mathes. Mrs. Maggitas came to Thomasville, GA on January 17, 1949 from Greece with her family. On May 19, 1963 in Greece she married George Maggitas who survives. She was a member of The Holy Mother of God Greek Orthodox Church in Tallahassee, FL. Other survivors include her son, Dennis Maggitas, son and daughter-in-law, Tommy and Connie Maggitas, daughter, Mary Maggitas, son, Johnny Maggitas, grandchildren, Charles Maggitas and Christina Maggitas, brother and sister-in-law, George and Kathy Mathes all of Thomasville, sister and brother-in-law, Georgia and Max Wainer of Alpharatta, GA. and brother, Angelo Mathes of Thomasville.
