Cora Lee Bates

Graveside services for Cora Brock Bates, 78, of Moultrie, Ga, are at 11AM on Thursday, October 18, 2012 at Hopewell Cemetery in Colquitt County, Ga. Mrs. Bates died on October 15, 2012 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born September 23, 1934 in Colquitt County, she was the daughter of the late William Dave and Sallie Mae McMullen Brock. She was married to James Bates who preceded her in death. Mrs. Bates was of the Baptist faith and retired from Maule Air Factory in Moultrie. Survivors include sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary and Rudolph Allen, Hazle and Joe Bonner all of Thomasville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Gene and Karin Brock of Moultrie and Leonard and Ann Brock of Greenville, SC; several nephews, nieces, great nephew and great nieces. She was preceded in death by sisters, Sarah Mozle Moncrief, Betty Sue Parker and brother John Robert Brock.
