Graveside services for Corene Young May, 95, will be at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 in Old Valley Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Ocilla, GA. Rev. Timothy Scoonover will officiate. Mrs. May passed away on September 2, 2012 in Thomasville. Born June 7, 1917 in Ocilla, GA, she was the daughter of the late George W. and Eliza Stone Young. She was married to the late Wilbur May. Mrs. May worked for Watson-Scott, Champion Homes and Mary Lewis Ceramics. She was a member of Old Valley Grove Primitive Baptist Church in Ocilla. She is survived by a son Larry May of Thomasville, son and daughter in law, Gene and Glenda May of Thomasville and a daughter, Carolyn Robbins of Douglasville, GA. Also surviving are grandchildren Todd May, Debbie and Lewis Turner, Michael and Toni May, Penny May, Nathan May, Carrie Robbins, Cindy Robbins, Jason Robbins, 10 great grandchildren, and a niece Alma Simmons, and nephew Jerry Hooker, and several other nieces and nephews.
