Memorial services for Curtis Earnest Bozeman, 86, of Winter Springs, Fl and formally of Thomasville are 3:00 pm, Saturday, May 14, 2011 at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel. Rev. Merrill Coram will officiate. Mr. Bozeman passed away February 24, 2011 at his home in Winter Springs. Born March 22, 1924 in Colquitt Co., he was the son of the late Will Ambers Bozeman and Mary Jane Morris Bozeman. In August of 1947 he married Margaret L Williams who preceded him in death. Mr. Bozeman was a World War 2 veteran. He served in the 8th Air Force, 100th bomb group, 349th squadron United States Air Force. He served as the radio operator / tail gunner with his crew on a B17, and flew 11 successful missions. He was stationed at "Thorpe Abbots" in Diss, just a few miles away from Norwich in the United Kingdom during the war. He retired from the USDA as a federal meat inspector in 1990, and continued working until his death. He is survived by son, Curtis "Brent" Bozeman and wife Jacqueline and daughter Marsha Bozeman Nattress all of Winter Springs, Fl brothers and sisters, Eugene Bozeman and wife Ivie, Mildred Massey, all of Thomasville, Cecil Bozeman and wife Catherine and Tommy Bozeman and wife Shebie all of Pavo; grandchildren, Christin Bozeman Ray of Casselberry, Fl and Alexandria C. Bozeman of Chicago, Ill and 3 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Guests may sign the online guest register at
