Cynthia Griffin Bozeman

Graveside services for Cynthia Griffin Bozeman, 83 of Thomasville will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, April 2 at Laurel Hill Cemetery on GA Street. Rev. Lee Waller will officiate. Mrs. Bozeman passed away March 31, 2017 at Archbold Hospital. Born May 14, 1933 in Coolidge, she was the daughter of the late Leonard Griffin and Katie Stanaland Griffin. She was married to Carl Bozeman, who preceded her in death. She graduated from Thomasville High School and was a formally trained dental hygienist. Mrs. Bozeman loved to cook, sew and garden. She is survived by her children, Dr. C. Ronnie Bozeman and wife Amy of Thomasville, C. Michael Bozeman, Esq. and husband Rev. Harry Knox of Quitman and Patti Bozeman Becker and husband Bob of Reynolds; grandchildren, Adam Bozeman and wife Cheryl, Laura deBazelaire and husband Lionel, Kristyn Smith and fiancé Scott Pittman, Paul Robert Smith, Jr. and wife Gabrielle; great grandchildren, William deBazelaire, Charlotte deBazelaire, Eden Bozeman, Luke Bozeman, Grace Smith, Eleanor Smith and Margaret Smith. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Dillard Griffin. Donations may be made to Miss Kitty Feline Sanctuary, P.O. Box 22, Thomasville, Georgia 31799. The family will receive friends 5-7 PM, Saturday, April 1, 2017 at the funeral home.
