Cynthia Ann Morris

Graveside services for Cynthia Ann Gunter Morris, 71 of Ochlocknee will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Rev. Steve Wooten will officiate. Ms. Morris passed away June 14th at her residence. Born September 9, 1946 in Pavo, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Eunice Shiver Gunter. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Edward Morris, Sr. She was retired from Archbold Hospital where she worked as a unit secretary for 23 years. She survived by her children, Joseph Edward Morris, Jr (Christine), Beverly Benton (Perry) and Donna Thomas (Dan) all of Thomasville; grandchildren, Cricket Morris, Joseph Edward Morris, III (Katie), Luke Benton, Jason Benton, Jessica Thomas, Rebecca Thomas, Samantha Thomas and Alley Thomas; sister, Brenda Howell (Billy) of Thomasville and sister-in-law, Barbara Cochran of Ochlocknee. She was also preceded in death by sister, Willie Mae Gunter. Donations may be made to Hospice of Southwest Georgia, 114 Mimosa Dr #B, Thomasville Ga 31792. The family will receive friends 1-2pm, Saturday before the service at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel.
