Dale G Graham

Celebration of Life Service for Dr. Dale Gramling Graham will be held at 5:00 pm on December 1, 2022, at Thomas County Central High School. She will be laid to rest in a private ceremony at Waukeenah Methodist Church Cemetery. Honorary Pall Bearers will be Conner Oby Graham, Sophie Joy Graham, and Jackson Dean Mann. Dr. Graham passed away on November 24, 2022, at Archbold Memorial Hospital. She was born in Macon on December 24, 1946, a daughter to the late Daily Inman Gramling and Louise Crawford Gramling. Dr. Dale Graham was a 1965 graduate of Thomasville High School and went on to obtain her bachelor's degree at Valdosta State University. She loved education so much she went back to Valdosta State University to receive her master's degree and then on to Florida State University to earn her doctorate in education. Education wasn't a hobby, but a lifelong passion. She taught every possible age group. It was not uncommon for her to tutor students in her own home or over the phone, even after she was no longer their "teacher." She dedicated over 50 years of her adult life to helping everyone have their "ah-huh" moments. If you're from Thomasville, then you most likely were taught by "Dr. Graham." In her spare time, she loved crafting and blessing others with Christmas decorations or any other season that called for decorative bows or wreaths. The most treasured part of her life was her family who she loved more than anything. She lived to spoil her grandkids and for the annual family Thanksgiving trip. She leaves behind to honor and cherish her memory daughter Chrissy Graham Mann (James), of Thomasville; son Oby Inman Graham (Christa), of Thomasville; brother Daily "Buddy" Inman Graham (Debra), of Mooresville, NC; grandchildren Conner Oby Graham, Sophie Joy Graham, and Jackson Dean Mann. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to Thomas County Schools to build an outdoor classroom in her honor to further learning.
