Dale Alan Slusher, 66, died Friday, June 12, 2020, at his home. He was born in Dayton, Ohio on December 13, 1953, to Carl N. Slusher, Dayton, and Elsie Willis Slusher Lamb (Max) of Thomasville. He was the owner of his own moving company, Dale’s Pack & Load, from 1988 until he retired in 2017. He is survived by his wife of almost 40 years, Wendy Funk Slusher of Thomasville, his son Toby Alan Slusher of Thomasville, 2 grandsons Cody Slusher of Sylvester, Georgia, and Colson Slusher of Summerville, SC. He had three sisters, Carol Stringer of Thomasville, Diana Kalinowska of Dallas, TX, and Vickie (Gary) Hunter of Ochlocknee, GA, one brother- in-law, James (Emily) Funk of Thomasville, and his in-laws Jerry and Marilyn Funk of Thomasville. He was preceded in death by his parents. He also had 5 nieces and one nephew. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. on Sunday, June 14, 2020, at Allen and Allen Funeral Home Chapel.
