Services for Dallas Leon Carter of Thomasville are at 3:00PM on Saturday, September 2, 2006 at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Danny Thomas will officiate and interment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Mr. Carter died August 30, 2006. Born April 8, 1936 in Grady Co., GA he was the son of the late Anderson Lee Carter and Dorothy Nell Droughon Carter. On November 6, 1987 in Thomasville he married Wilma Pyles Carter who survives. Mr. Carter was retired from Capital Package and was Baptist. Other survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Ricky Smith of Ochlocknee, son and daughter-in-law, James and Krysty Draper of Cairo, GA; grandchildren, Michael Smith, Richard Smith, Christopher Smith, Tina Twiggs; seven great grandchildren, brothers, Robert Carter, Vernon Carter, sisters, Martha Jenkins and Donna Meades all of Thomasville.
