Dan E. Paauwe

Dan E. Paauwe died July 29, 2016 at his daughter’s home in Coolidge, Ga. On March 20, 1956 he was natively born and raised in Grand Rapids MI, Plainfield Township. He attended Northview High School where he made and kept many friends, notably Richard Razmus. He worked as a steel slitter operator for several years at Magic Steel in Wyoming, MI. Dan enjoyed hunting and being around his friends and family. Dan was diagnosed with cancer in 2012 where over the last four years he slowly became increasingly sick, until the end July 29 where he went to rest surrounded by family that loved him. Survivors include daughter and fiancé , Jessica Fay Paauwe and Jeffrey Eric Stanley, grandchildren, Brittany Mae Salmons, Tiffany Fay Salmons, Caitlyn Karina Salmons, Christian Louis James Bengtsson, Gabriel Micah Marcellus Tinney, Korilyn-Beverly Raiyleighna Tinney, Hunter Elijah Travis Stanley, Jessalyn Elizabeth Stanley, siblings, Allen Paauwe (Sheila), Louise Stuck, Steven Paauwe (Dawn), Gregory Paauwe (Belinda).
