Daniel (Danny) Michael Simones Sr., beloved father, musician, and entrepreneur, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 15th, 2022, at his home in Coolidge, Georgia.
Danny Simones was born on February 17th, 1950 in Olive Hill, Kentucky, to parents Evelyn Blevins and James Leroy Simones as one of sixteen children. He lived his life to the fullest as a loving father and passionate musician, and brought so much love into this world. He was truly a gypsy soul and loved to experience new places with his family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and his cherished wife, Susan Ann Simones. He is survived by his children, Daniel Simones Jr., Michael Simones (Holly Simones), James Simones, Candalena Simones, and many grandchildren and great-grand children who lovingly referred to him as "Pawpaw".
Danny Simones passed away tranquilly in his sleep next to his loving son, Michael Simones and daughter-in-law, Holly Simones, after a long battle with lung cancer. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Danny's name to The Salvation Army.
