Darlene Mccullough Martin

Darlene Faith McCullough Martin, 59 years of age, passed on Friday, April 26, 2019 at Archbold Memorial Hospital, Thomasville, GA. She was born on October 5, 1959 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Louis J. McCullough and the late Darlene McCullough. She was married to Kenny Martin of Cairo, GA for 43 years. Darlene was a homemaker. She loved spending time with family, laughing and always wearing a smile on her face. She was a loving and caring person, devoted wife, mother, and friend, always thinking of others. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren and great-grandchildren she loved them all very much. "To know her was to love her." She is survived by her children Daniel McCullough of Auburndale, FL, Jody Martin of Panama City, FL, Dean Martin (wife Bellanira) of Cairo, GA. Sisters Jackie Childers of Morganton, NC, and Lynn Harris (husband Mike) of Ochlocknee, GA; brothers Ralph Halley, Ochlocknee, GA and Mike Halley (wife Michelle) of Thomasville, GA; grandchildren: Cody Sutton, Cee Ce Sutton, Michael Tyler Sutton, Nathaniel McCullough, Matthew McCullough, Hayley McCullough, Dean Martin Jr., Brianna Martin, Jaden Martin, Felipe Gomez, Alex Gomez, Diana Gomez; great-grandchildren: Ava Wilson and Cayman Wilson. She also had a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was a member of New Growth Baptist Church of Thomasville, GA. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, May 11, 2019 at New Growth Baptist Church, 3890 County Rd, Thomasville, GA at 11 am.
