Services for Darol Wayne Palmer, 48, of Thomasville will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 12, 2002 at Dawson Street Baptist Church where he was a member. Rev. Lee Waller, Rev. Gary Holland & Rev. Rutledge Courtney will officiate with interment in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers are Reese Brookerd, Jimmy Palmer, Ralph Carter, Tom Gavin, Al Tryan & Bert Griffin. Honorary Pallbearers are Employees of Metal Buildings Inc. and Thomasville Exchange Club. Mr. Palmer passed away on July 9, 2002. Born November 19, 1953 in Thomasville, GA., he was the son of Jack Winford Palmer, Sr. who survives in Thomasville and the late Kathleen McClendon Palmer. On April 26, 1975 in Thomasville he married Diane Allen Palmer who survives. He was a Vice President and Construction Manager for Metal Buildings Inc., and was a member of the Thomasville Exchange Club. Other survivors include his son, Ashley Wayne Palmer; daughter, April Suzanne Palmer; sister, Kathy Palmer and Walt Christian all of Thomasville; sister & brother-in-law, Gail & Paul Morrison of Coolidge, GA; father & mother-in-law, Rudolph & Mary Lou Allen of Thomasville, nieces & nephews, Tracy Palmer, Sarah & Jimmy Barwick, Charlie Palmer, Gabe Kinight, Erika Palmer, Anthony Palmer, Amy Boyles, David Logue, Jennifer Kaye Boyles, Kimberly Logue, Richard Boyles, & Matthew Allen; brother-in-laws & sister-in-laws, Ann Palmer of Colorado, Darrell & Leslie Allen of Thomasville, Cheryl & Jeff Logue of Columbus, GA & Denise & Bernie Boyles of Valdosta, GA. He was preceded in death by a brother Jack Winford Palmer, Jr. Memorials may be made to the Dawson Street Baptist Church Youth, 1025 N. Dawson St., Thomasville, GA. 31792.
