David Ashley Dodson

Funeral services for David Ashley Dodson will be held 10:00AM, Saturday, July 28, 2018 at Laurel Hill Cemetery with Elder Willie Jones officiating. Ashley passed away on July 26, 2018 at his residence. Born October 6, 1967, he was the son of Wayne Dodson and the late Janice Dodson. Ashley was a client for 40 years at Thomas-Grady Training Center, where he enjoyed his work, especially labeling Oil Dri Litter Bags. He was a friend to everybody, black or white, rich or poor, and never met a stranger. Medical staff considered him a favorite due to his friendliness and happy disposition that lasted even throughout treatment of leukemia. Ashley is survived by his father, Wayne Dodson of Ochlocknee, brother Bert Dodson of Valdosta, and niece Jordan Dodson, nephew, Matthew Dodson of St. Simmons Island, aunt and uncle James and Pam Logue of Thomasville.
