David Green Rigsby

Graveside services for David Green Rigsby of Thomasville are at11:00AM on Friday, April 7, 2006 at Laurel Hill Cemetery on 12th Street. The Rev. Burns Willis will officiate. Mr. Rigsby died April 5 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born April 15, 1922 in Thomasville he was the son of the late David Augustus and Effie Luke Rigsby. On October 17, 1948 in Thomasville he married Dorothy Felkel Rigsby who survives. Mr. Rigsby was a World War II veteran of the United States Naval Air Corps. He was a retired engineer with Southern Bell and was a member of First United Methodist Church. Other survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Charlotte Rigsby of Tallahassee, FL, son, David Rigsby of Deland, FL, brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Billie Rigsby of Thomasville, sister, Sue Rigsby O?Mara of St. Augustine, FL, grandchildren, Kathryn Rigsby, Kara Rigsby, Jennifer and Kevin Reid, Joshua Rigsby and John David Rigsby. A sister, Dean Rigsby Connell, preceded him in death. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, Inc., P.O. Box 1201, Albany, GA 31702 or to the charity of your choice.
