David Michael Johnson

David Michael "Mike" Johnson, a loving husband, father, brother, papa, and friend, passed away peacefully at his home on May 27, 2026, at the age of 76. Mike was born on January 7, 1950, in Tampa, Florida, to Olin and Wilma Johnson.
For over 35 years, Mike was a long-haul truck driver, meeting many people along the way. Mike never met a stranger and loved to sit and talk with those he met. Known for his quick wit and humor, he kept everyone on their toes, never knowing what he was going to say! Mike had a loving heart and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Mike loved fishing and riding motorcycles in his younger years.
Mike is survived by his wife of 31 years, Janice, his stepson Chris Hall (Julie) of Thomasville, GA; grandchildren Hannah Knight (Cody) of Thomaston, GA, Colby and Chloe Hall of Thomasville, GA, Trenton Hall of Tifton, GA, along with several great-grandchildren.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Terry Johnson and Jimmy Johnson.
Mike was a member of the Gathering Church in Thomasville.
A service will be held on Sunday, May 31, 2026, at 2 pm at Allen & Allen Funeral Home.
