Services for David L. Cutts, 71, of Cairo are 2:00 pm, Thursday, May 28, 2009 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Calvin Hunter will officiate. Interment will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, May 30, 2009 at Chattanooga Valley Baptist Church in Chattanooga Valley, Ga. Mr. Cutts died May 25, 2009 at Archbold Hospital. Born March 4, 1938 in McMinnville, Tn, he was the son of the late James Franklin Cutts and Mildred Nadine Fults Cutts. On March 29, 1956 in LaFayette, Ga he married his loving wife of 53 years, Linda Bryson Cutts, who survives. Mr. Cutts was a local land developer and builder for years in this area. Other survivors include son David Lynn Cutts of Panama City, Fl, daughters, Sandra Gail Cutts Deshields of Cairo, Cathy Louise Cutts of Panama City, Fl; sister & brother-in-law, Chris & Ellis Galyon of Brentwood, Tn, sister, Sherry Jane Cutts Cyree of Chattanooga, Tn, brother & sister-in-law, Terry Wayne & Louise Cutts of Rising Fawn, Ga, 7 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and his loving companion "Little Bit". He was preceded in death by brothers James Franklin Cutts Jr and Freddie Lee Cutts. The family will receive friends 12-2 pm before the service at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel and 11-1 pm, Saturday, May 30, 2009 at Herritage Funeral Home in Ft. Oglethorpe, Ga.
