David Clarence Owens

Services for David Clarence Owens will be held at 11:00 A.M on Monday, January 23, 2023, at Antioch Baptist Church with Pastor Donnie Duncan and Pastor Kenneth Burgess officiating. Interment will be at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. David Clarence Owens, age 77, of Thomasville passed away on January 19, 2023. He was born on August 2, 1945, in Moultrie, son to the late Clarence and June Hunt Owens. He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. David married Helen, who preceded him in death. He was retired from H.D. Supply Water Works where he worked in sales. Survivors include daughters Julie Atkinson (Mike) of Thomasville, and Donna Owens of Tallahassee; grandchildren Laura Butler (Kevin), and Stephen Atkinson; great-grandchildren Michaela Butler and Rylee Kate Butler; and brother Darrell Owens (Colleen) of Moultrie. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his sisters Kathi Barnes and Patti Bowers, and great-grandson Jace Butler. Visitation will be held Sunday from 3:00 - 5:00 P.M. at Allen & Allen Celebration of Life Chapel.
