David Louis Smith

Services for David Louis Smith, 75 of Thomasville will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, November 24, 2019 at The First Church of the Nazarene. Reverend Rick Mann will officiate and interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers are Lee Wilcox, Chris King, James Browning, Terry Ryals, Jr., Jacob Smith, Jeff L. Smith, Jr., Rhette Murphy and Joe Evans. Mr. Smith passed away November 21, 2019 at Archbold Hospital. Born October 03, 1944 in Bainbridge, he was the son of the late Willie C. Smith and Nellie Nix Smith. He was married to Kathy Wilcox Smith, who survives. Mr. Smith was a member of The First Church of the Nazarene and was a veteran of the United States Air Force (1962-1966) and the United States Army (1968-1971) serving in the Vietnam War. Other survivors include sister, Anne Strickland of Crawfordville, Florida; brother, Jeff (Donnie) Smith of Wacissa, Florida; sisters-in-law, Anita Smith of Wacissa and Beverly Clay and husband Al of Thomasville; brothers-in-law, Tony Wilcox and wife Pam of Thomasville and Randy Wilcox and wife Jeanne of Thomasville; mother-in-law, Virginia R. Wilcox of Thomasville and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 5-7 pm, Saturday, November 23 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home.
