Dayne Townley Parramore, 62, passed away on February 10, 2018. He was born February 18, 1955 in Thomasville, Georgia to Claude and Janet Parramore. His love and passion was in farming on his family’s farm in Merrillville. In 1999, he was named the Soil & Water Conservationist of the Year for Thomas County. He was a member of Georgia Young Farmers, served on the Board of Thomas County Georgia Farm Bureau, and was a shooting safety instructor for Thomas County 4H. For fun he enjoyed fishing in his backyard, hunting, and adventuring to the beach with his family and friends. His pride and joy was in his children, Matthew and Sara. He is survived by his love, Carol Parramore; children, Matthew and Lainna Parramore, Sara Parramore; granddaughter, Mylin Parramore; siblings, Abbie Parramore, Teri and Mike Hourihane, and Dale and Jamie Parramore and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Janet Dupre Parramore. He helped build and was a member of Trinity Anglican Church in Thomasville. Visitation will be held at Allen and Allen Funeral Home on Monday from 5 to 7 in the evening. Services will be held Tuesday, February 13 at 11 in the morning at Trinity Anglican Church. The family will receive friends immediately following in the Parish Hall.
