Deborah Ann Deeb

Deborah Ann Deeb, beloved mother, grandmother (Bebe), sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2026, in Thomasville, Georgia. She was born on April 15, 1952, in Quincy, Florida, to Fredrick and Leone Deeb.

Deborah cherished her time spent gardening, singing, alligator watching, birdwatching, and enjoying the great outdoors, especially by the ocean. She was known for her joyous spirit, often brightened by a fresh pot of coffee from the Three Squares Diner in Cairo. Above all, Deborah loved her family, particularly her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her beloved dog, Deedi, her daughter, Johanna Peterson Roland of Austin, Texas; son, Christopher Peterson (Leigh Wasson) of Sausalito, California; grandchildren Katie Faythe Maher, Macey Blair Smith, and Levi Aben Roland; and great-grandchildren Wilder, Colten, Max, Marthie, Stevie, and Mabel. Deborah is also survived by her siblings, Diana D. Huber of Tallahassee and Sterling Deeb of Gainesville, Georgia. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Fredrick Deeb, as well as her cherished dog, Pebbles.

The family will hold a private service to celebrate Deborah's life. Deborah will be dearly missed but always remembered for her big heart, warmth, laughter, and the love she shared with her family.
