Delores (Dee) Griffin

Graveside services for Delores (Dee) Griffin of Ochlocknee will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at Little Ochlocknee Cemetery, with the Rev. Nathan Fowler officiating. Born on July 22, 1947 in Thomasville, she was the daughter of the late Roy E. Richardson and Maebell Sharber Griffin. She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church and was a retired Nurse working many years for Dr. Keith Beverly and Dr. Mark Brewer and was a member of the American Medical Association. She had also worked for Dr. Huddie Cheney, Dr. Charlie Watt, Dr. Vance Watt, Dr. Ed Hall, Dr. Alan Waller and Dr. Arlie Mansberger. Mrs. Griffin was married on June 29, 1969 in Little Ochlocknee Baptist Church to Herman Griffin who survives. Other survivors include her brother and sister-in-law, John H. and Patricia Richardson of Thomasville and brothers-in-law, Dennis Cox and Grover Griffin, Jr. all of Ochlocknee, special nephew, Don Allen and special friend Sherry Mc. She was preceded in death by her son Jeff Griffin. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, May 18, 2015 from 6:00-8:00PM.
