Deloris Eileen Streets, a cherished member of the Thomasville community, passed away on January 2, 2024, at the age of 88. She was born on August 30, 1935, in Rogersville, TN, to her late parents, Joe and Pearlie Hilton. Deloris resided in Thomasville, GA, and was deeply rooted in the community she called home.
Deloris was a woman of grace and kindness, known for her soft-spoken nature and her unwavering ability to see the good in others. She was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother.
Faith played a significant role in Deloris' life, and she was an active member of First Baptist Church of Thomasville. For many years, she devoted her time and talents to supporting the church and worked there for many years.
Survivors: daughter Teresa Lynn McMillian and husband Johnny of Jacksonville; sons David Streets and wife Betsi of Flowery Branch, Tim Streets and wife Kay of Thomasville, and John Streets and wife Tonia of Thomasville; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Streets, daughter Carla Moore O'Hearn, and Grandson Thomas Streets. She was the youngest of 13 and is preceded in death by her 12 siblings.
Services will be held to celebrate the life of Deloris Eileen Streets at 3pm Friday, January 5th at Allen & Allen Celebration of Life Chapel. The family will receive friends from 2-3pm prior to the service.
