Services for Delphine Marie Kaproth of Thomasville, GA are at 10:00AM on Saturday, July 30, 2005 at St. Augustine Catholic Church. Father Jacek Szuster will offer a mass of Christian burial and interment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Delphine died peacefully at home on July 26, 2005. Born August 6, 1924 in Granite Ledge, Minnesota, she was the daughter of the late Stella Albright Holewa and Felix Albright. She was married in Benton County, Minnesota May 4, 1943 to Edward Walter Kaproth who preceded her in death in December 17, 1989. Delphine grew up on a farm in Benton County, MN. She worked at General Motors in Flint, Michigan during World War II, also at the Our Own Hardware Store, Foley, Minnesota, and Fritzie Fresh Candy Co., Newport, Minnesota. Retiring to Tallahassee in 1979 and then settled in Thomasville in 1980. Delphine volunteered with St. Augustine Catholic Ladies? group and The Goodwill Stores, she was also active in visiting nursing homes in the Thomasville area. Survivors include her children, Dr. David Kaproth of Tallahassee, FL; Roger and Jan Nathe Kaproth of St. Cloud, MN; Michael and Nancy Aiken Kaproth, of Ithaca, NY; Carl Kaproth and Karin McCullough, of Seattle, WA; Suzanne and Rev. David Frazer, Spooner, WS; Sharon and Fred Johnsen, Tehachapi, CA. Sister, Leona Starzynski of Antioch, IL, brothers, Ernest Albright of Hoyt Lakes, MN, Richard Albright, of Lake Wales, FL, Joseph Albright of Anoka, MN, sisters, Marie Stitt of Elk River, MN and Janice DeMaster of Burnsville, MN. Delphine?s family includes 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by brothers, Edward, Lawrence, Robert, Lester and sisters, Marcella Ciombor, and Frances.
