Dennis Boyd Kelly

Services for Dennis Boyd Kelly, 66 of Thomasville will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, February 16, 2014 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Mack Luke will officiate and interment will be at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be John Hammond, Julian Key, Brent Waters, Chris Waters, Don Spiegner and Ronnie Majors. Mr. Kelly passed away February 11 in Atlanta. Born July 11, 1947 in Moultrie he was the son of the late William Boyd Kelly and Eula Mae Plymel Kelly of Thomasville, who survives. Mr. Kelly graduated from Thomasville High School in 1966 and was a veteran of the US Army where he served in Vietnam in 1967 & 1968. He was a master electrician for IBEW and worked all over the United States including Georgia, New York, California, Florida, Louisiana, Indiana and Colorado. He was retired at the time of his death. Other survivors include daughter, Karen Denise Kelly of Atlanta and son, Christopher Dennis Kelly of Wakulla, Fl; grandchildren, Chelsea Elizabeth Hammond, Emily Kristen Hammond, George Clifton Hammond, III, Jase Kelly, Blake Kelly and Tatum Kelly; sister, Sabra Kelly Foy and husband Ray of Thomasville.
