Dennis Wayne Pollock

Services for Dennis Wayne Pollock, 52, of Ochlocknee will be at 11:00AM, Wednesday, April 17, 2002 at First Newark Baptist Church where he was a member. Rev. Mike Keown will officiate with interment at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Mr. Pollock died Sunday, April 14, 2002 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. He was born September 2, 1949 in Camilla, GA, the son of the late Marvin Roscoe and Beth Lou Cox Pollock. He was married to Kathy Louise Thompson Pollock who survives. He retired from the Thomasville Police Dept. in 1998. He received a bachelor of science degree in Criminal Justice from Florida State University and a masters degree from Nova University in Gainsville, Fl. He was a member of the Thomasville Masonic Lodge #369, Exchange Club, Hasan Temple, and a former Boy Scout Leader. Other survivors include his son Ronald Allan Pollock of Vincennes, Ind., brother & sister-in-law, Allen Turner & Judy Pollock of Cairo, Ga.; niece, Jennifer Pollock and nephew Chris Pollock. He was preceded in death by a son John William Hampton Pollock. The family will receive friends at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel from 7-9PM on Tuesday.
