Graveside services will be on Texas Street at Laurel Hill Cemetery for Denny Blair will be held on Thursday, August 20th, 2020, at 10 a.m. Floyd White will officiate the service. Denny Blair was born in Thomasville, GA, on August 2, 1949, and he left to be with his lord on August 17th, 2020. He was the son of Leon and Dena Bower Blair, who survives. In March 1971, he married Ann Pettijohn. He graduated from Thomasville Highschool and ABAC. Denny was a member of and attended 1st United Methodist Church of Thomasville. He was a Master Mason of Thomasville Lodge 369, where he served as the Master of the Lodge 3 times. He was also a member of Hasan Shrine Temple and served as Potentate in 2002. He was an avid Auburn fan, and he was rarely seen without orange and blue on. He had his 4 granddaughters, who were the loves of his life. He was active on the board of directors of the Shriners Hospital for Children in Tampa, FL. He is survived by his children, Brian Blair (DeAnn) of Moultrie, Roslie Parrish (Christopher) of Biloxi, MS; granddaughters, Mackenzie Blair of Oklahoma, Jessie Ann Blair of Moultrie, Courtney Parrish and Kimberly Parrish of Biloxi, MS; siblings, Gary Blair (Penny) of Thomasville, Anita Boyle (Bob) of Auburn, AL; cousins, Betty Cole of Boston, GA, Lynda Gagle of Mt. Holly, NC. He was preceded in death by his in-laws, Harold and Evelyn Pettijohn. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the transportation fund of Hasan, 1822 Palmyra Rd, Albany, GA, 31701.
