Diana Sample

Memorial services for Diana Sample, 72, will be held 11:00AM, Saturday, July 9, 2016 at St. Augustine Catholic Church where she was a member. Mrs. Sample passed away on July 6, 2016 at her residence. Born May 28, 1944 in St. Petersburg, FL, she was the daughter of late Josephine Ruth Parsley and Michael Caparossi. She retired from State Farm Insurance after 40 years. She also worked at Ross’s Antique shop for 20 years, where she weaved chairs. She enjoyed writing kids books and short stories. Mrs. Sample was an animal lover and enjoyed traveling to new places. Survivors include her husband Ross Sackett of Thomasville; son David Sample of Atlanta; daughter Keri Smith of St. Petersburg; three grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and brother, Rick Caparossi of Orlando, Fl.
