Diana Maria Searcy

Memorial services for Diana Maria Ferrer Searcy, 57 of Thomasville will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, August 10, 2019 at the Thomas County Board of Education Michael Owens Auditorium (Old Thomas County Middle School). Mrs. Searcy passed away August 3, 2019 at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. Born May 9, 1962 in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico., she was the daughter of Miguel Ferrer Vazquez and Elisa Quintana Muñiz, who survive. On May 8, 1988 in Puerto Rico, she married Jon Mark Searcy, who survives. Before moving to Georgia, she worked with the Puerto Rico Department of Probation & Parole. For the last 26 years she was a resource coordinator and pre-school teacher at Hand-n-Hand Primary School. She loved dancing, music and helping others in need. She is also survived by her son, Jon Michael Searcy of Thomasville; brother, Miguel Ferrer (Papo) of Winter Haven, Florida and sister, Carmen Ferrer of Mayaguez, Puerto Rico.
