Diane Brinson Hickey

Diane Brinson Hickey passed away peacefully at home with family by her side on March 25, 2026. Diane was born on May 20, 1946, to the late D.W. and Irene McGuire Brinson in Cairo, GA.

Diane is survived by her husband, Rodney Hickey, and daughters, Kim Stewart (Lee) and Rhonda Faircloth (Buck). She was "Meme" to two grandchildren, Hailee Stewart and Cody Faircloth. Other survivors include sisters, Billie Brinson McCorkle, Cathy Brinson Whiddon, brothers Danny Brinson (Cile), Donnie Brinson (Sherry), sister-in-law Mary Sue Hickey, followed by numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Gloria Brinson Andrews, niece Teri Andrews Lough, nephew Sam Brinson, sister-in-law Martha Ann Hickey Wismann Shiver, brother-in-law Shelby Hickey, brother-in-law Pete Wismann, and mother and father-in-law, Vernon and Maudie Sue Hickey.

In honoring her wishes, no funeral or visitation services will be held. The family asks that she be remembered in your own special way.
