Services for Dollie Harwood Allen, 90 of Thomasville will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, April 16, 2022 at the Allen & Allen Celebration of Life Chapel. Interment will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Allen passed away April 12, 2022 at Plantation Manor. Born February 26, 1932 in Thomasville, she was the daughter of the late John Henry Taylor and Sarah Jane Dean Taylor. She was married to W.B. Allen, who preceded her in death. She was retired from Coats & Clark and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. She is survived by her sons, Andy Harwood, Dana Harwood and wife Penny, all of Thomasville; step-children, Roger Allen and wife Elizabeth, Bruce Allen and wife Kathy, David Allen and wife Diane, Don Allen, Wanda Langston and husband Billy; Grandson, Chris Harwood and wife Keli, Granddaughter, Jennifer Lewis and husband Nick; several step-grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Clarence Harwood; son, Randy Harwood; daughter-in-law, Mary Ann Harwood; granddaughter, Brandy Cook; 4 sisters and 1 brother. The family will receive friends 1-2 pm, before the service at the funeral home.
