Services for Dollie Grace McGalliard Anderson, 83, of Thomasville are at 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 11, 2007, at Gatlin Creek Baptist Church, where she was a member. The Rev. Steve Wooten and Rev. Dr. Don Prevatt will officiate and interment is in Laurel Hill Cemetery on Florida Street, next to her former husband, Earnie Roberts. Mrs. Anderson died June 8 at Plantation Manor. Born June 19, 1923, in Thomas County, she was the daughter of the late Robert Thomas and Julia Alma McGalliard. She was married to Elbert Anderson who preceded her in death. She was employed with Sunnyland for over 30 years and she was homemaker. Mrs. Anderson was faithful to and loved her church. She enjoyed camping, fishing, country music and most of all her love for cooking. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Gloria Croley and Sonny Crapps of Jacksonville, Fla.; grandchildren, to whom she was affectionately known as ?Big Mama?, John W. and Karen Crapps and Children, Dakota and Sadie Grace of Valdosta and Cindy and Lee Brown and daughter, Cassidy of Jacksonville, Fla.; step-daughter, Lou Ellen Peek Earl; step-sons, Charles Anderson Janice, Donald Anderson Susan and Billy Anderson Glennie; Sister, Alma Cone Clem; sisters-in-law, Mary Reinhart, Sondra McGalliard and Eunice McGalliard; she also leaves behind a host of close friends. She was preceded in death by previous husband, Hoke Croley and husband Earnie Roberts; a baby daughter; son, Neil Allen; and brothers, Ruben McGalliard, Howard McGalliard, Russell McGalliard, Marion McGalliard, Robert McGalliard and David McGalliard. Memorials may be made to Gatlin Creek Building Fund, 2031 Gatlin Creek Rd., Thomasville, Ga. 31792 and to Plantation Manor, 220 Park Ave., Thomasville, Ga. 31792.
