Don Edward Jacobs

Memorial service for Don Edward Jacobs, 72 of Ochlocknee will be held at 2:00PM, Saturday, April 25, 2015 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Randy Blow will officiate. Mr. Jacobs passed away April 16, 2015 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born September 26, 1942 in Memphis, TN, he was the son of the late William Burton Jacobs, Jr and Opal Arnold Scott Jacobs. He is married to Deveni Pyles Jacobs who survives. Mr. Jacobs was a retired officer with the United States Coast Guard serving 20 years. Other survivors include his children, Stephen E. Jacobs and wife Connie of Boston, Donna Lynn Jacobs Surman and husband Danny of Panama City, Fl, Devon Edward Jacobs of Ochlocknee and Ebe Oke AKA Christopher Sellers of London, England; brother, Robert Jacobs of Memphis, TN; grandchildren, Alicia Renee Jacobs Parnell and husband David, Briana Lee Jacobs, Lauren Drew, Lauren Opal Jacobs, Amanda Marie Knowles, Rylee Leighanne Hurst Jacobs and Marisa Morey; great grandchildren, Kaylee Jacobs, Erin Parnell, Ashlyn Plymel, Elise White, Dakota White, Ander Jacobs, Christian Monroe and Donavinh Jacob Le; daughter-in-law, Summer Hurst and former wife, Carol Barlow.
