Don Michael Viers

Graveside services for Don Michael Viers, 73 of Boston will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at Boston Cemetery. Rev. Tim Phillips will officiate. Mr. Viers passed away May 13 at his residence. Born November 9, 1943 in Pulaski, Illinois, he was the son of the late Don E. Viers and Rose Mary Wallace Viers. He was married to Cheryl Miller Viers who preceded him in death. He was a veteran of the United States Army, where he served in the Vietnam War and a member of Boston Baptist Church, where he served as a Deacon. He spent most of his life in the military and civil service. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and is now with the love of his life, Cheryl. He is survived by his children, Don Michael “Mike” Viers, II and wife Shannon of O-Fallon, Missouri, Robert “Bobby” Viers and wife Lyvonne of Summerville, Georgia and Kim V. Baldwin and husband Walt of Woodbridge, Virginia; grandchildren, Jordan, Caitlin, Lauren, Jackson, Austin, Courtney, Reed, Bryce and Brooke; brother, Steve Viers and wife Wil of Lakeland, Florida, sister, Nancy Kuhlman and husband Dennis of Austin, Texas and friends and family in Boston. The family will receive friends after the service in the social hall at Boston Baptist Church.
