Donald Earl Cox

Memorial services for Donald Earl Cox, age 74, will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Forest Acres Full Gospel Church on Cassidy Rd. A visitation will be held before the service from 1:00-2:00 at the church. Mr. Cox passed away on October 5, 2021, at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville, Georgia. He was born on October 2, 1947, in Brownsville, Tennessee to Edgar Earl Cox and Sarah Cox. Donald was married to Lady Ann (Sandy) Williams Cox. He earned his bachelor's degree during college, served in the United States Army, and continued to work for the United States Government for a total of forty-four years. Donald is survived by his Step-children, Michael James Brunthaver (Cheryl) and Misty Dawn Brunthaver Hunter (Keith); Step-God daughter Sarah Margaret Williams; step-grandchildren, Deseree Brunthaver, Crystal Brunthaver (Jessie), Jacob Brunthaver, Jenah Mercer, Gage Matthews (Hailey), and Deonna Smith (Austin). He is also survived by ten step-great grandchildren; his brothers, Perry Edgar Cox and Billy Wade Cox (Sheila Ann); and sister Donna Frances Heron.
