Donald Edwin Hamm

Services for Donald Edwin Hamm will be held at the Allen & Allen Celebration of Life Chapel Monday, September 26, 2022, at 2 PM. Donald, 81, of Bloomingdale, Ga., passed away on September 19, 2022. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be held Sunday, September 25, 2022, at Allen and Allen’s Celebration of Life Chapel from 4-6 PM. Donald was born on March 22, 1941, in Adel, Ga., to the late John Emerson and Naoni (Harrell) Hamm. Donald graduated from Florida State University with his bachelor’s, after which he became the owner of a software development and integration company. In 1972, he married Sharon Louise McKinney in Caramel, California. Donald enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating, scuba diving, and travel. He is survived by his daughter Courtney Hamm of Bloomingdale, Ga.; grandchildren William Edwin and Gracie Louise Strickland; brothers John Franklin Hamm (Elena) of Merritt Island, Fl., Jerry Hamm (Pam) of Thomasville, Ga., and Tex Hamm (Becky) of Cummings, Ga.; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
