Donald Keith Lamb

February 8, 1952 — November 5, 2024

Donald 'Donnie' Keith Lamb, aged 72, passed away on November 5, 2024, under Archbold Hospice Care while a resident at Camelia Gardens. Born on February 8, 1952 in Mitchell County, GA, he fought a long, hard battle off and on for 22 years of cancer.

Donnie worked as a truck driver under the CB handle 'Rodslinger' with Cagle's out of Camilla, GA for many years. Also, worked for several independent trucking companies such as Wiggins, Larry Woods, and Sauder Trucking, to name a few.

He was known to many of his family, friends and neighbors as "Inspector gadget" and "The Mayor of Meigs", although he never held the title officially, many looked up to him and valued his input.

In his spare time, he loved to shoot pool, even going to Las Vegas and playing on the big tables back in 2006. He also loved to sing karaoke and NEVER met a stranger and was a collector of all things. He left a lasting impression everywhere he went, to know him was to love him.

He is survived by his daughter, Stephanie (Victor) Logue, and his grandchildren, Lynn Clark, Haley(Shawn) Highsmith, Holly(Michael) Wynn, Micayla Logue, Eve Logue, Charlie Clark, Shawn Morgan 'Tripp' Highsmith III, Eleanor Wynn, Dani Carter.
Donnie was preceded in death by his parents CB and Doris Williams Lamb and his brother, David Richard Lamb.

A Memorial service will be held at a later date.
