Services for Donald Lanis NeSmith, 72, of Boston are 4:00 pm, Friday, April 16, 2010 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Brett Jarriel will officiate. Mr. NeSmith died April 12, 2010 at his residence. Born May 15, 1937 in Barwick, he was the son of the late John Ellis NeSmith and LuNedra Davis NeSmith. Mr. NeSmith was a retired farmer and of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed fishing, dirt track racing, cooking for his family and friends and the blue grass show on Saturday afternoons. Survivors include daughter & son-in-law, Krista & Hal Harper of Tifton, sons & daughters-in-law, Mark & Allison NeSmith of Boston and Payton & Betty Ann NeSmith of Boston; grandchildren, Sarah Harper, Griffin Harper, Jacob Harper, Jon Ellis NeSmith, Jackson NeSmith, Jessica NeSmith, Matthew NeSmith and Palmer NeSmith; brother & sister-in-law, Mike & Rhetta NeSmith of Dahlonega, Ga. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to be made to Hospice of Southwest Georgia, 818 Gordon Ave, Thomasville, Ga 31792.
